I had my first class last night

And I feel most reassured. The tutor was very friendly and helpful and the other person in the class seems to have similar interests and viewpoints, so I think we will have a good time.

I was very nervous before I went and thought that I'd feel a bit thick, but I was soon put at ease. The large reading list has been broken down into manageable chunks with a weekly guide to what we are doing. I feel more confident that I can manage the workload now.

I have investigated the Learning Resouces Centre and managed to find some books. It seems fairly easy. I am going to play around with the LRC's online services and see what I can find on the Internet.

So far, so good!
